Are your leads scrubbed against the Do Not Call list?

Each month our leads are scrubbed against the FTC and State Attorney General Do Not Call lists. At the time of purchase, all consumer sales leads with phone numbers are privacy-compliant. Over time, people may add themselves to the Do Not Call list and it is ultimately the responsibility of the client to remove these names before calling. To learn who has added himself or herself to the Do Not Call list, you should register for a Subscription Account Number (SAN#).

Are your leads privacy-compliant? What steps does USADATA take to protect Consumer privacy?

USADATA takes the privacy of the consumer very seriously. Each of the third party compilers and managers we work with have their files go through monthly hygiene processes including but not limited to:

If you send your mail campaign out within 30 days of the time your order is placed, you should expect the following delivery rates:

  • Consumer Mailing Lists: 94% or better
  • Business Mailing Lists: 90% or better
  • Occupant Lists: 95% or better
  • New Homeowner Lists: 94% or better
  • New Mover Lists: 94% or better

What percent phone accuracy should I expect?

If you call the contacts on your targeted prospect list within 30 days of the time your order is placed, you should expect the following phone accuracy rates:

  • Consumer Lists: 90% or better
  • Business Lists: 85% or better

Leads and List Ordering

Do I need to register to run a list count or receive a quote?

With USADATA you may run list counts and obtain quotes as often as needed without registering. We do offer more experienced users a free account to our SL360 Registered product where clients may order new leads on demand, save list counts, and use more advanced features. What is the difference between Consumer Lists and Occupant Lists?

Consumer Lists allow you to use demographic and psychographic filters to reach your best prospects, and are addressed to a specific individual within the household. Occupant Lists are addressed to the ‘Current Resident' and are appropriate when you want to reach or saturate every household within a geographic area, without the use of demographic filters.

How long does it take to get my list?

Lists are delivered within 24 hours, typically within 30 minutes during normal business hours (9am-6pm EST). After completing your order online you will first receive an order confirmation email with your order ID. This is your receipt. Shortly after you will receive a second email, the order fulfillment email, which will contain the links to download your list.

If I can’t find the leads I’m looking for online, what should I do?

Do you offer list and leads of Canadian consumers and businesses?

Can I save my quotes, counts and searches?

Yes we recommend saving your quotes, counts and searches. Within the order flow, simply click the "Save Search" button. Complete a short form and you'll immediately receive an email with your free quote plus a link to retrieve your count so you can always pick up right where you left off.

What is the difference between single use versus multiple use?

When ordering a list you are renting the list. With single use, you may use the list one time only. With multiple use, you may use the list as often as you like for one year. After one year, you may continue marketing to anyone who responded to your campaign or who became a client of yours. Please note with Occupant Lists, you may only order for a one-time use or two-time use of the list.

In what format will my list arrive?

Lists are delivered in two formats:

Can I create mailing labels?

Can I order mailing labels?

Yes, USADATA can supply printed mailing labels. To order labels, check the box and choose the number of sets of printed labels you require when ordering online. For phone orders, please inform your Data Specialist that you wish to order printed mailing labels.

Pricing

How much do your mailing lists and sales leads cost?

The price of the targeted prospect list depends on the categories you use to compose your list, the quantity of prospects that you desire, and how many times you plan to use the list. Please see our pricing chart (reflects the price for a one-time use of the mailing list, i.e., can use the list only once).

What is the minimum order?

All online orders have a minimum cost, including any discounts, of $45.00. All offline orders have a minimum cost, including any discounts, of $150.00.

How can I pay? What credit cards do you accept?

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Cards. You may also pay by check or money order with a signed agreement.

What is your return policy? What if I get back a higher than expected amount of mail?

Orders may be cancelled within five business days with a cancellation fee of $5 per 1000 names with a $25 minimum. Orders may not be cancelled after five business days.

If an error is made when placing your order and you wish to re-order a list, there will be a re-processing fee of $3 per 1000 names with a $25 minimum. If you wish to re-order the list online, USADATA will refund your credit card (for the original order) for the difference between the order amount and re-processing fee once your replacement order has been completed.

If you feel you have received a higher amount of returned mail than expected, you may contact us to discuss the campaign. Campaign questions will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Campaigns must be mailed within 30 days of your order for consideration. We reserve the right to ask you to ship us the returned pieces (at our expense) prior to any credit being issued.

Is there a monthly fee to use your website?

No, there is never a monthly fee or subscription fee to use our website. With USADATA you may run list counts and obtain quotes as often as needed without any fee or charge.

Do you offer email lists?

We offer email marketing. We do not offer email lists. Our service will send your email, which you design, directly to your consumer or business target audience. We are CAN-SPAM compliant and use opt-in email addresses only. *Please note: We do not sell actual email addresses. Orders start at $1,500.

Do you offer subscription services?

I am new to Direct Marketing. What should I do to optimize my return on investment?

What is a Subscription Account Number (SAN#)? Why do I need one? How do I get one?

If you are using our specialty telemarketing lists to contact consumers, it is your responsibility to remove individuals who appear on the Do Not Call list before calling them. If you do not do this, you risk the possibility of a fine for each person contacted who is currently on this list. To find out who is on the Do Not Call List, you will need to register for a Subscription Account Number (SAN#). Registration is free for up to five area codes.
Here are step-by-step instructions for obtaining a SAN#. This process should take 5 minutes.

  • Visit the following page: https://telemarketing.donotcall.gov/Profile/Create.aspx
  • Scroll down and complete both the Organization Information and Authorized Representative forms. Then click Submit.
  • Write down or print out your Organization ID and passwords.
  • At the left side of the screen, click Manage/Renew Subscriptions.
  • Enter your Organization ID and Password. Choose the Representative radio button. Click Log In.
  • Complete this additional form in its entirety. You will be required to specify the area codes or geographic areas you wish to register for. After completing this form, you will be provided with your Subscription Account Number (SAN#). Please print this out for your records.
  • If you are placing a telemarketing list order for consumers with USADATA, you may be required to provide a SAN#.

Are there exceptions to these rules? Yes. Some companies are exempt from Do Not Call legislation. To learn more, please visit the FTC website.

What are my responsibilities as a marketer?

As a USADATA client, you are bound by the terms of the Data Use Agreement. You should use the list in an ethical manner and should someone ask you to remove them from your list/database, you must abide by their wishes and refrain from contacting them. USADATA has no access to, nor does it offer credit and social security data.

All clients requesting sensitive selection options for a prospect list must submit their mail piece for Compliance review prior to receiving any leads from USADATA.

How do I remove my name from your list?

If you wish to no longer receive unsolicited mail, we recommend you contact the Direct Marketing Association's Mail Preference Service, the official mail preference service for the Direct Marketing and Catalog communities. Here you will be able to complete a form and your name will be removed from thousands of databases simultaneously. Each month list providers scrub their database against this file to make sure they respect the privacy.

To remove your name from just our direct mailing lists, please email us with your name and full address. We will add you to our suppression file and will not rent your name to any other client.
